The best way to play fast footy is not to get it and simply kick it forward at all costs, it's to get overlap.
The ability for individual players, and teams, to create this overlap means the ball is constantly in motion and the opposition will not be able to cover all of your offensive bases as you've given them no time to reorganise in the first place.
A scrambling defense is a vulnerable defense!
