BRISBANE LIONS TEAM DEFENSE
MY TAKE
AFL and AFLW teams do a lot of their game analysis via the behind the goals vision and this shows why, enabling us to see the Lions full team press defense on show.
First up, they condense the ground into about a 70x40m area.
Secondly, they are alert and react very quickly to the Crows changing direction of their ball movement on multiple occasions.
Thirdly, as the Crows shift the ball back to the same spot where this vision starts, the Lions are right back into their starting formation and force a turnover in the middle of the ground.
