The point of game analysis is to find patterns of play that occur over multiple games that then allow you to see how your team plays in relation to them, as well as how opposing teams do as well.
As stated last week I've been able to pinpoint almost a dozen patterns of play that occur in AFLW, and they would be very close, if not the exact same, in most local footy games as well.
This past round of AFLW provided the exact same scenario twice being how 2 different teams defended a lasso free kick from the exact same spot, in the exact same situation.
From these 2 videos there is clear winner in who defended this kick the best and is definitely a formation you can apply to your own team in 2024 - success leaves clues!
